Dear Mr. President,

I read v.nth great interest the report on the trips of your students for- collacting fossils in the Bad Lands and for studying geology and paleontology. May 1 ask you if your eollection can exchange some material of fossil vertebrates? I am very anxious to get some Skeletons of the most typical animal from your TertiaryrOreodon and --ne of the sabre-tooth tigers (Dinict^i s or Hoplophoneus), a skull and a f^ot of Poebrotherium and Mesohippus, and perhaps a skull of Entelodon and :?r vtoceras. Every object shnuld be very well preserved to be placed '-n exposition. Gan your send your vn.sh.es? I am ready to send you fine Skeletons of Ichthyosaurus and Jurassic, fishes of Germany, but I can hei p , you in other Lirections too to complste your eollection.
