Zweck.
§. 1. Die Gesellschaft hat den Zweck, das Studium Wissenschaftler Zoologie und Botanik überhaupt anzuregen, zu fördern und verbreiten, zunächst aber die Fauna und Flora des österreichischen iserstaates gründlich und vollkommen zu erforschen, und zu diesem de den Verkehr unter den Naturforschern zu vermitteln.
Mittel.
§. 2. Die Mittel, welche die Gesellschaft zur Erreichung dieses
eckes anwendet, sind:
а ) periodische Versammlungen,
б) Herausgabe von Druckschriften,
c) Aufstellung naturwissenschaftlicher Sammlungen,
d) Anlegung einer Vereinsbibliothek.
Bedingung zum Beitritt.
§. 3. Mitglied der Gesellschaft kann Jedermann werden, der sich
naturwissenschaftlichen Studien beschäftigt, odei übei laup

Papers written in English, German, tin, French or Itaiian are equally ad- >sible.
The illustrations annected to such aers, if they are very numerous, oi' ‘icult execution, or requiring extraordi- •y care, may become the object of a iciai convention between the Society the authors, to whom, however, any .sible facility shali be atforded.
Every author of a paper published tbe Society is entitled to receive gratis without costs 25 copies of this paper, ides un unliniited number of extracopies, vided be consents to repay to the So- y the expenses of paper et printing
them.
These expenses are fixed at the follo- ig rate:

So that for 100 sheets (160 pages 8°,) indemnity, due to the Society, amouuts i 1 /» florins.
