The beautiful fossil fishes which Stetson got, thanks to your kind assistance, are now mounted and on exhibition and are certainly a joy to behold. Do let me know if you ever have a Chance to get any really fin<£.Pterodactyls. I have some fine American fossils, just recently collected, which I could use in exchange. Or I would be glad to purchase also.
I want to make another inquiry and this is to ask whether you have any skeletal material of Rhinoceros sondaicus . I am very much interested in fossil and recent Rhinoceroses at present and not only try to secure skeletal material of all existing material but ^-I am anxious to get Information as to where material is available for study. If you have a mounted specimen fif this species I would greatly appreciate a photograph and I would appreciate equally a list of the Rhinoceros material in your Museum; number of skulls, etc.
I was so much interested in what you told me regarding your means of securing populär support for your Museum that I would like very much to join as a life member and so do my small part towards helping your wonderful Institution. Will you teil me whether this is possible and what the cost would be?
With the wärmest regards from Professor Wheeler and all of your other friends here, I am
Most sincerely,
