Dr. Fr. Drevermann, University of Frankfurt, Frankfurt a.M.

Germany.

Dear Dr. Drevermann:

I regret to say that your letter asking for financial help in your work to forward interest in the international aspect of scientific research could not be answered sooner. On account of a great many matters which had come before our various committees, it was not possible to consider your request until very recently at the meeting of our Executive Committee.

Although the committee ex- pressed a great deal of interest in your work and appreciation of your efforts in this field, it feit that our Organisation has no available funds to extend financial help to you.

Our funds are limited, and as the various demands are numerous, we must limit our obligations for the present at least.

Again with appreciation of

your efforts.

Yours sincerely,

WILBÜR K. THOMAS Director.
