in sending you, under another oover, some photographs of the spotted insect Dunb aria from the Lower Permian of Kansas. I am also inolud-
ing a number of reprints of Dx. Tmyard’s study of the Kansas insects
to dato. As your name was plaoed on our mailing list about four years ago, you will be assured of getting our reprints in the future, and this parcel will give you those whioh are available from our older papers.
You will find a disoussion of tjie oolored inseots and their mode of ocourrenoe in Part 1 of the Kansas Inseots papers. You will also find a pioture of another very remarkable spotted inseot in Part 10, page 190.
I regret that your visit to New Raven was so hurried that we did not have more of an opportunity to get aoquainted. I shall hope for better luok when you re turn next fall.
