Papers written in English, German, Latin, French or Italian are equally ad- missible.
The illustrations annected to such papers, if they are very nuinerous, of difficult execution, or requiring extraordi- nary care, inay become the object of a special conveution between tbe Society et the authors, to whoin, liowever, any possible facility shall be afforded.
Every author of a paper published by the Society is entitled to receive gratis et without costs 25 copies of this paper, besides un unlimited number of extracopies, provided he consents to repay to the Society the expenses of paper et printing for tliem.
These expenses are fixed at the follo- wing rate:
