The illustrations annected to such aers, if they are very numerous, of ,icult execution, or requiring extraordi- y care, may become the object of a :cial convention between the Society the authors , to whom, however, any isible facility shall be alforded.

Every author of a paper published the Society is entitled to receiye gratis without costs 25 copies of this paper, ides un unlimited number of extracopies, vided he consents to repay to the So- y the expenses of paper et printing them.

These expenses are fixed at the follo- ig rate:

1 or 2 leaves 8° . . . Vs Kreuzer, 3 or 4 id. ... 2 /s ,,

7 or 8 id. (a complete sheet) Kreuzer.

So that for 100 sheets (160 pages 8°) indemnity, due to the Society, amounts lVs florins.
